Who’s actually going to make it to the game?
From My friend Angela:
“If you go to a ballpark around the start of games, you will see dugouts filled with teams where everyone is on their cell trying to dig up a player because someone went on vacation and forgot to tell anyone.”
I’d like Timu to help prevent that scenario. And while I’d still like to work out a more formalized system for this, I’ve realized with two tools already built into Timu can help teams easily determine in advance who’s attending a particular game.
Game Based Comments
Each scheduled game in Timu allows for game specific comments. If you go and check your team schedule right now (assuming a schedule has been entered) you’ll see a comment box attached.
Game Reminder Notices
A team manager can send out a notice to team members reminding them about upcoming games. This message be received via email, or text message, as each member prefers.
All a team manager has to do is send out a game reminder requesting that everyone RSVP for a particular game in the comments thread, allowing everyone to communicate together, with out calling around or emailing back and forth. Subs can be discussed through the comments as well.
So you can plan ahead for who’s going to be at each game with Timu, hopefully leaving everyone a little less stressed and a little more ready to play.
